Stage Custom kit, the SBP0F5NW7 consists of a 20" x 17" bass drum, a 14" x 13" bass tom, a 12" x 8" tenor tom, a 10" x 7" soprano tom and a 14" x 5.5" snare drum, sold with hardware kit. Typical of Yamaha drums, the drums are all birch, 6-ply and fitted with one-piece shells. Already renowned as the best drums in their price range, the new Stage Custom Birch drums have benefited from a number of improvements.
Presentation
- The drums have thicker folds, inspired by the Live Custom series.
- The bevels are now rounded, to improve contact with the skin and low frequencies
- Absolute shells have a single attachment point
- New moulded hooks
- New spikes for the bass drums,
- Snare drums fitted with 10 tie rods, for greater tuning precision and tension

The headstock has undergone a number of changes since its conception to achieve optimum results.
The hard resin ball is enclosed in a chrome-plated shell and locks into place with a highly ergonomic titanium butterfly key.
This is one of the few attachments that allows drummers to position their tom with millimetre precision.
It also allows the resonant skin to be tuned in a single rotation, without unnecessary gymnastics.
The Stage Custom bass drum legs have stops for easy adjustment.

- Firstly, it allows a minimum of contact between the clamp and the barrel. The shell is fixed at the "Nodal*" point, which is where there is no interference with the vibration of the barrel. Nylon joints add perfect stability. The 'YESS' is also very effective at placing the toms very close together for your playing comfort.
- Then, on the bass toms, the "YESS" offers very open sustain while retaining great stability on the ground.
