Designed for music creation without a computer, the 1010music Blackbox 2 offers a compact environment for recording, sequencing, playing and mixing your sounds directly from its high-resolution colour touchscreen. Its four flexible tracks support several types of instruments, including Shredder, One-Shot, Loop, Slicer, Multisample and External Instruments, allowing you to adapt your workflow to different ways of working with samples.
For beatmaking, the unit allows you to sequence in step, grid, piano roll or probability mode, whilst offering dedicated screens for triggering, scenes, tracks, mixing and effects. DJ effects and XY controls allow you to manipulate filters, echoes, gates, flangers, bitcrushers and repeaters, amongst other effects. Live looping, internal resampling and the automatic creation of multisampled instruments from synths further enhance creative possibilities.
The Blackbox 2 also features a USB-C port for multi-channel audio and MIDI controllers, a microSD slot for projects, patches and sample libraries, as well as a battery for use without a mains power supply.
With its audio inputs and outputs, MIDI connections and compact design, it is ideal for both on-the-go sessions and live performances, offering complete autonomy.
