With Korg Phase8, you can configure each resonator individually thanks to 13 chromatically tuned elements, 8 of which can be used simultaneously. Adjustable envelopes make it easy to switch between short strokes and long, modulated notes, giving you a wide sound palette to suit your performance. Precise control of each voice ensures that every nuance is captured and transformed into audible, palpable vibration.
The Korg Phase8's built-in sequencer makes it easy to create polymetric rhythm patterns. You can program step-by-step or record live, with no quantization constraints. Each sequence is saved in one of the 8 memory locations, so you can instantly recall your musical ideas or explore new variations as you compose.
Available on the Phase8 are 3 amplitude modulation effects, including a classic tremolo and 2 fast modulations that adapt to the pitch of the notes. The last mode can automatically align itself to harmonic intervals. These tools allow you to explore expressive and varied sonorities, offering a dynamic that transforms every performance into a vibrant, interactive experience.
Korg has incorporated an adjustable trigger delay via the Shift potentiometer, which can be synchronised to the chosen tempo. This makes it possible to add subtle or rhythmic echoes to the resonators, enriching each sequence and adding a spatial dimension to the compositions. This function offers a depth of sound that evolves naturally with your performance.
Physical interaction goes beyond simply setting parameters. By touching, pinching or rubbing its resonators, you can directly modify the sound.
