Its integrated A/D converter offers resolutions of 48, 96 and 192 kHz with a bit depth of 24-bit or 32-bit floating 'unclipping', a world first, providing unprecedented flexibility and recording quality.
The NT1 Gen5 Silver also incorporates a DSP for advanced APHEX® audio processing, available only at 48 kHz. This DSP enables real-time processing effects, such as compression and equalisation, to be applied directly from the microphone, simplifying the recording and mixing process.
The microphone features a 3-pin XLR connector for traditional use with 48V phantom power required, as well as a USB-C connector for direct connection to a computer, powered by USB 5V. This versatility allows users to choose the connection method that best suits their needs.
