Adam Sub 8 is an 8-inch, 160-watt active subwoofer designed to complement the Adam A3X, A5X and S1X monitors.

Presentation
The Adam Sub8 active subwoofer houses an excellent 8" woofer with a large 50mm voice coil and a 160 Watt Ice Power amp. This amplifier produces very little heat build-up at its maximum power level, even over sustained periods.
On the front panel are two motorised potentiometers for adjusting the input level and filter cut-off frequency to suit your sutdio. These controls can be operated with a wireless remote control, to optimise sound reproduction from your listening position.
The Sub-8 is the ideal complement to ADAM's compact monitors, including the A3X, A5X and S1X. In addition to the traditional black model, ADAM offers a "Silver" version that blends in perfectly with multimedia systems.
