Presentation
Antelope Audio's Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core builds on the previous model by adding the latest generation of AD/DA converters (with up to 130dB of dynamic range) and routing and signal processing capabilities rarely seen in a compact product in this price range.
This audio interface has been redesigned to give studio owners, bands and sound engineers greater flexibility through routing.
With the Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core, you'll get the most transparent recordings possible thanks to discrete component preamps based on a unique combination of 6 transistors. They provide maximum noise reduction and precise sound capture.
The Discrete 4 Pro's virtual routing patch is the big new feature in this evolution of the previous Discrete 4. It optimises the routing process and lets you direct any source to any output. Routing is intuitive, simply drag-and-drop, and the software control panel lets you create presets, quickly configure mixes with four 32-channel virtual mixers, and more.
Another major new feature is that you can now assign effects to any source. Create different versions of the same recording with unique effects chains, record them simultaneously and even send them to all the performers using the four headphone outputs.
The 37 effects included with the Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core are modelled on legendary studio equipment and can be applied in real time during monitoring, post-production and live recording. Analogue-modelled compressors, EQs and preamps are handled by the interface with near-zero latency, taking the load off your computer's CPU. The Synergy Core processor is powerful enough to create a 16-channel effects rack configuration - four times more than the original Discrete 4 Synergy Core.
And you can expand your plug-in collection at any time by purchasing additional analogue machine models such as Grove Hill's Liverpool tube compressor, and third-party effects such as the famous Antares Auto-Tune.
