On the one hand, the Motu M6 interface provides 32-bit / 192 kHz audio conversion, guaranteeing faithful, accurate reproduction. Its 6 inputs and 4 outputs make it easy to manage several audio sources simultaneously. In addition, ESS Sabre32 Ultra™ DAC technology provides clear sound rendition, ideal for mixing and mastering.
In addition, the colour LCD display makes it easy to view all levels in real time. The mic preamps, featuring an EIN measured at -129 dB, ensure a clean signal even at high volumes. For added flexibility, direct monitoring is available for each input.
The Shure SM7dB microphone features a cardioid pick-up pattern and an integrated switchable preamp, giving an additional gain of +18 or +28 dB as required. Its frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz makes it suitable for both vocals and instruments. What's more, its magnetic shielding effectively reduces interference.
Thanks to its swivel mounting, positioning is a snap. A low-cut filter and midrange boost are available to adapt the recording to the context.
