Antelope raises its Discrete 8 audio interface to the level of professional requirements.
The Discrete 8 Pro Synergy Core now allows you to use 16 channels of effects (still 8 effects maximum per channel) and introduces a simplified virtual patch system.
The performance in terms of Analog / Digital conversion gains 1 dB.
This audio interface has been revised to give it more flexibility in all situations. With the Discrete 8 Pro Synergy Core, it is now possible to:
- route your inputs / outputs by choosing the audio source for each channel using a drop-down menu or by using the virtual drag-and-drop patch
- create presets to recall your routing, internal mix without latency and the entire session
- access talkback easily from the front panel
- use rotary relay potentiometers for each preamp and headphone outputs
- connect your interface of your choice via a Thunderbolt™ 3 or USB 2.0 port (macOS & Windows specific drivers)

To use all the effects, you must register your Discrete Pro interface on the Antelope Audio website. You can then access the effects by associating your Discrete Pro interface with your login. You will then be able to access the effects through the interface.

Venant d'une Focusrite Scarlett 18i20, c'est un vrai changement avec un son plus détaillé dans l'ensemble, notamment plus de finesse dans les aigus, et une absence totale de latence. Par contre c'est le control panel qui est tout sauf intuitif et complique la prise en main de cette interface. Je suis encore à la peine au bout de trois semaines ... dommage dans cette catégorie de prix !
