Focusrite - ISA C8X

Two of the ISA C8X preamps are equipped with the historic Lundahl transformer, bringing incomparable openness to all your most varied recordings for tracks with body and a hint of warmth. With them you get up to 79 decibels of gain to cover low-level mics or powerful dynamic models.

The other six mic preamps capture every detail of your most subtle sources with 69dB of gain and extremely low noise. You'll be able to record a string section, backing vocals and percussion simultaneously without compromising on clarity.

High-fidelity 24-bit/192 kHz converters with a dynamic range of 125 decibels guarantee exceptional fidelity of capture and reproduction for your recordings. Your mixes will benefit from a depth and clarity worthy of the greatest professional recording studios in the world.

Focusrite's Console mode adds smooth saturation and punchy bass, and you can also choose 430 Air mode, which brightens the highs with an inductance shelving filter. These all-analogue modes let you sculpt your sound before it even enters your computer for further processing.

The ISA C8X also features the Auto Gain function, which automatically adjusts the input level of the microphones in a matter of seconds to avoid saturation. You simply activate this option from the front panel or via the software and the interface adjusts the optimum gain for each preamp.

The 2 front-panel instrument inputs pass through a Lundahl transformer to reproduce the feel of an analogue console. You select the right impedance for your guitar or bass for a warm, natural sound straight from the source.

The twelve balanced line outputs allow advanced monitoring from mono to 7.1.4 format for complete sonic immersion. You can switch between 3 groups of speakers from the front panel or remotely, depending on your mixing needs.

The included Hitmaker Expansion bundle includes plugins such as the Brainworx bx_console Focusrite SC and Sonnox Oxford Reverb to enrich your sound palette with processing tools from the brand's heritage.
