The Arturia MiniLab 3 Black is a great way to enter the world of MIDI without selling your dog. This 25-note USB master keyboard has everything you need to take control of your sounds: responsive pads, assignable encoders, touch wheel and intuitive integration with your software. It fits in a rucksack, consumes very little power, and even has a MIDI output for controlling your old synths.
The package becomes truly unreasonable (in a good way) with Native Instruments' Komplete 15 Standard Upgrade. This version is designed for those who already have Komplete Select, and it unlocks access to a colossal sonic arsenal: powerful synths, realistic guitars, cinematic drums, studio processing and crazy effects. Massive X, Kontakt 8, Guitar Rig 7 Pro... it's all there. From soaring pop to industrial techno, via an imaginary film soundtrack featuring flamingos on stilts. It's all installed via Native Access and then activated without an internet connection. Your creativity will have nothing to fear.
