Presentation
The B&C Speakers 10BG76 8 Ohm is a 10-inch speaker designed to deliver precise bass and low-midrange reproduction, with a power handling capacity of 1000 W AES and a sensitivity of 91.5 dB at 1W/1m.
Its 76 mm copper voice coil, mounted on a double silicone spider, ensures optimal control of the membrane displacement, promoting a frequency response in the bass and low-midrange from 49 Hz to 800 Hz.
The neodymium magnet, in the form of a ring, allows an optimized power-to-weight ratio, reducing the mass of the motor while ensuring a stable and efficient magnetic field. Its curvilinear cone, treated against humidity, improves structural rigidity and resistance to difficult environmental conditions, a significant advantage for use outdoors or in demanding environments.
With a total quality factor (Qts) of 0.22 and a resonance frequency (Fs) of 49 Hz, this model is particularly suitable for bass-reflex loads and compact subwoofer designs requiring good performance in the low frequencies.
Its linear travel (Xmax) of 9.6 mm ensures sufficient excursion to reproduce punchy bass without noticeable distortion, making it a relevant choice for sound systems requiring clean and controlled reproduction of transients.
