The B&C Speakers 5NSM38-8 is a 5-inch speaker designed for midrange reproduction in high-performance sound systems.
Thanks to its neodymium ring magnet, it combines lightness and magnetic power, for precise and dynamic sound reproduction.
Its 38 mm aluminum voice coil offers better heat dissipation, limiting distortion and ensuring high reliability even during prolonged use. With an AES power of 220 W and a high sensitivity of 99 dB, this transducer guarantees excellent energy efficiency, and optimizes sound pressure without requiring excessive amplification.
Its radial cone benefits from a waterproof treatment at the front for better resistance to humidity and climatic variations, making this model suitable for demanding environments.
In terms of mechanical design, the B&C Speakers 5NSM38-8 incorporates a double roll suspension and a single spider, i.e. good control of the cone movements for a controlled frequency response between 300 Hz and 3.5 kHz.
Its low Xmax of 2.2 mm confirms its vocation for a faithful reproduction of the midrange, with reduced distortion and a fast response to transients.
