With a continuous power of 600 W, this transducer ensures reliable performance even at high sound levels. Its sensitivity of 92 dB at 1 W/1 m guarantees notable efficiency, allowing detailed sound reproduction with minimal distortion.
The 2.5-inch (64 mm) voice coil, made of copper wire, ensures excellent conductivity and efficient thermal management, thus contributing to the durability and performance of the speaker. The use of a ferrite magnet creates a stable magnetic field, promoting natural and coherent sound reproduction.
Designed for optimum use in bass-reflex enclosures, the B&C Speakers 8FG64 8 Ohm is recommended for a 16-litre load volume with a 50 Hz tuning, allowing an extended frequency response in the low frequencies.
The radial cone is treated to resist humidity on its front face to extend the life of the speaker.
The roller suspension and the single spider provide precise control of the cone displacement, ensuring faithful reproduction of transients and an effective dynamic response.
