The B&C Speakers DE1090TN 8 Ohms is a high-frequency driver that combines compactness and performance in a sleek design. With a diameter of only 127 mm, it nevertheless features a 100 mm aluminum voice coil, a sign of a sophisticated design designed to deliver stable and linear sound pressure, even at high volumes.

This model has benefited from extensive work on the geometry of its dome and suspension, with the introduction of a curved-edge former. The result: better control of the diaphragm's displacement, reduced distortion, and a smoother response in the extreme treble, particularly above 10 kHz.

Its driver uses a neodymium magnet with an internal ring, reducing its footprint while maintaining a dense magnetic field. With a sensitivity of 108 dB and a response range extending from 500 Hz to 20 kHz, it easily integrates into an ambitious two-way or three-way configuration. It can handle up to 120 W continuous (240 W program), with a recommended crossover frequency of 800 Hz.
