The DE120TN 8 Ohm is a high-frequency compression driver developed by B&C Speakers for compact PA systems requiring precision, efficiency and compact dimensions.
With its particularly compact size and limited weight, it fits easily into small to medium-sized loudspeakers, while maintaining stable, controlled acoustic behaviour.
Featuring a 25 mm (1") throat, the DE120TN is ideal for use with a wide range of standard horns. Its operating band extends from 1.2 kHz to 18 kHz, allowing comfortable high-frequency operation, with a recommended cut-off frequency of at least 2 kHz, accompanied by slope filtering of 12 dB/octave or more.
This configuration guarantees reliable, long-lasting operation, while preserving the motor's linearity in its optimum range.
The titanium diaphragm is one of the key elements of this model. This material is renowned for its rigidity and mechanical stability, contributing to accurate reproduction of the high end of the spectrum and good durability, even under sustained conditions of use.
The 36 mm aluminium voice coil contributes to the overall efficiency of the motor, ensuring effective heat dissipation and high efficiency.
