When a compact system means making choices, the B&C DH350 4 Ohm means you don't have to choose between size and performance. With a diameter of just 48 mm and a featherweight of 250 g, this compression driver slips in where others won't, while guaranteeing clear, effective reproduction over a wide frequency range.
The ingenuity of this model lies in its HLX technology, a patented spiral phase plug concept. This approach provides a uniform acoustic path length between the centre and the edges of the diaphragm, without the need for costly metal parts. The result is a motor that is lighter, more compact and more acoustically coherent.
Thanks to this design, the diaphragm surface remains generous despite the reduced size, allowing a very low cut-off point around 1 kHz, ideal for low-volume two-way systems.
The DH350 is fitted with a 36mm aluminium voice coil and a diaphragm made from HT Polymer, a rigid and responsive material. It can handle 30 W of programme power with a sensitivity of 108 dB SPL, making it both dynamic and energy-efficient.
It integrates easily into standard 1" horns, while providing a relevant solution to weight and space constraints, whether for portable sound reinforcement, discrete fixed installation or custom design.
