The DE400 16 Ohm from B&C Speakers is a compression driver that stands out for its ability to combine performance and compact size, without compromising on sound quality.

With its compact design, it naturally fits into mid-sized two-way speakers, stage monitors, or even lighter systems that require simplicity but efficiency.

Its strength lies in its polyimide diaphragm. This material, both flexible and heat-resistant, guarantees reliable performance even in configurations where the driver is used for long periods of time.

The 44 mm aluminum voice coil ensures excellent responsiveness, with precise reproduction spanning the 1 to 18 kHz range. This allows it to easily adapt to a wide variety of horns and acoustic configurations.

With a sensitivity rating of 109 dB, this driver doesn't require much to produce a significant sound level. Its neodymium magnet generates a field strength of 1.8 Tesla, and the inductance, limited to 0.11 mH, promotes a lively, well-controlled high-frequency response.

It can be filtered around 1.6 kHz to achieve a natural transition with a midrange, making it quite versatile in speaker design.

The size remains very practical: 85 mm in diameter, just over 4 cm deep, two M6 mounting points at 180° on a 76 mm circle... everything is designed for easy integration.
