Presentation
The B&C Speakers DE52 8 Ohm Driver is a compact, high-performance compression driver designed to deliver accurate, balanced high-frequency reproduction. Its 1.4-inch (36 mm) throat and 2-inch (51 mm) aluminium voice coil guarantee a precise, linear response from 1,000 Hz, making it ideal for high-output 2 or 3-way systems.
Featuring an HT polymer diaphragm, the DE52 combines lightness and strength, ensuring excellent thermal and mechanical stability even at high volumes. Its ferrite magnetic circuit generates a flux density of 1.8 T, enabling it to achieve a high sensitivity of 108 dB (1W/1m) at a rated power of 35 W AES. The robust design and precision materials used ensure smooth, distortion-free sound reproduction, while retaining remarkable warmth and clarity in the midrange and treble.
Thanks to its standard 4-point 101.6 mm mounting, the DE52 fits easily into a wide range of 1.4" horns. Its reliability, musicality and excellent power-to-weight ratio make it the preferred choice for professional sound reinforcement applications, whether in fixed or mobile systems.
