B&C Speakers - DE910TN 8 Ohm Driver

The B&C Speakers DE910TN 8 Ohm is a powerful and precise compression driver. With a sensitivity of 108.5 dB, it transforms every watt into a clear, incisive signal. It's ideal for professional system designers who want to maximise output without weighing the system down, thanks to its neodymium magnet, which lightens the system while guaranteeing a stable response.

The 75mm titanium diaphragm provides both rigidity and lightness. This rigid material prevents distortion at high volumes, while maintaining excellent transient response. The result is clean, non-aggressive high frequencies with good definition up to 18 kHz. The copper demodulation cap further improves the linearity of the magnetic field in the coil, limiting distortion throughout the useful band.

With a rated power handling of 110 W AES (and 220 W programme), it is capable of supporting high-capacity systems without compromise. Its 33 mm (1.3") throat diameter makes it compatible with many standard horns. This motor is equally at home in line-source and point-source systems.

The 2.05 T magnetic flux ensures high precision diaphragm movement. Combined with an aluminium coil, it favours rapid response, which is crucial for faithful reproduction of vocal attacks or bright instruments such as brass or cymbals. Distortion remains low, even at high volumes.

In real use, the DE910TN stands out for its clarity and lack of harshness at the top end of the spectrum. It retains excellent articulation even in dense mixes, making it an excellent choice for touring systems, stage monitors or professional bi-amplified loudspeakers.
