The B&C Speakers WGDE12 8 Ohm Driver + ME102 combines two complementary elements from the Italian brand: the DE12 compression driver, renowned for its clarity and linearity, and the ME102 waveguide, designed for wide, even distribution. This compact, lightweight duo is a high-performance solution for applications requiring accurate high-frequency reproduction with extended coverage.
The DE12 motor, with its polyester diaphragm and 1.4" (36 mm) aluminium coil, offers excellent responsiveness across the entire band from 2 kHz to 18 kHz. Its ferrite magnet system guarantees thermal stability and a power handling capacity of 20 W AES (40 W in programme). Combined with the ME102 aluminium horn, this motor provides a horizontal dispersion of 140°, ideal for line-array configurations, compact loudspeakers or stage returns.
With a minimum cut-off frequency of 2.2 kHz, the WGDE12 + ME102 can be easily integrated into two-way or hybrid systems, ensuring a perfect balance between precision, lightness and robustness. A reliable combination for professional applications requiring sonic coherence and mechanical efficiency.
