This kit combines the DE620 motor, renowned for its precision, with the ME142 horn, designed to widen diffusion. The motor is based on a 65 mm aluminium voice coil and a titanium diaphragm. This combination ensures faithful reproduction of high frequencies, covering a range from 1 kHz to 18 kHz. In practice, this results in crystal-clear reproduction of vocals, melodic instruments and all the details that make a difference in a mix.

The 16 Ohm version of the DE620 is particularly well-suited to multi-channel systems where impedance balancing and optimised amplification loads are required. With 80 W AES and up to 160 W continuous, this motor is perfectly suited to professional applications. Its sensitivity of 107 dB guarantees excellent efficiency, transforming every watt into a significant volume of sound, without any loss of clarity or undesirable coloration.

The choice of titanium for the diaphragm is not insignificant. This material combines rigidity and lightness, enabling fast, accurate reproduction. Combined with a magnetic field of 1.8 Tesla, it keeps the voice coil under control, even under heavy loads. The result is a defined, distortion-free sound that remains comfortable to listen to, even over long sessions.

In terms of diffusion, the ME142 horn has a horizontal opening of 120°. This width of coverage ensures uniformity of sound throughout the room, with no perceptible gaps or unevenness. Its crossover frequency of 0.8 kHz facilitates connection with the midrange drivers, avoiding breaks in the response curve. Made from cast aluminium, it combines robustness with resistance to vibration.
