B&C Speakers - WGXDE800 16 Ohm Driver + ME242

The B&C Speakers WGXDE800 16 Ohm Driver + ME242 is a professional set combining the DE800 compression driver and the ME242 horn, specifically designed for line-array systems and applications requiring controlled directivity and high efficiency.

The DE800 motor uses a powerful neodymium magnet and a polyimide/titanium composite diaphragm, guaranteeing smooth, accurate sound reproduction throughout the high-frequency range. Its 3-inch aluminium voice coil and 1.4-inch (36mm) output architecture deliver a remarkable sensitivity of 108dB SPL, with a nominal power handling of 110W AES and a maximum power handling of 220W, ensuring a comfortable dynamic reserve for the most demanding applications.

The ME242 horn, made from cast aluminium, is optimised for line-array use. Its design ensures a constant horizontal dispersion of 120° and efficient loading from 800 Hz, while maintaining excellent directivity control.
