The B&C Speakers WGXDE880TN 8 Ohm Driver + ME242 is a complete, high-performance solution for professional line-array systems. It combines the DE880TN driver, renowned for its smooth response and high efficiency, with the ME242 horn, designed for wide and uniform high-frequency diffusion.
The DE880TN motor incorporates a 3-inch (75 mm) aluminium voice coil and titanium diaphragm, providing accurate, dynamic reproduction over a range from 500 Hz to 17 kHz. Its sensitivity of 108 dB SPL and nominal power of 110 W AES (220 W continuous) guarantee clear sound reproduction, even at high levels. The neodymium magnet system, fitted with a short-circuiting copper cap, ensures excellent stability of the magnetic field and a significant reduction in harmonic distortion, contributing to a particularly natural sound reproduction.
The ME242 horn, made of cast aluminium, ensures a constant horizontal dispersion of 120° and effective loading from 800 Hz, ideal for line-array configurations requiring homogeneous sound coverage. Compact and robust, it is designed for easy integration thanks to its four-point M6 mounting.
