This model combines the DE980TN driver, with a design optimised for clarity and high-level stability, with the ME242 horn, renowned for its directional precision and exceptional efficiency.
The DE980TN motor is based on a 3-inch (75 mm) CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminium Wire) coil and a titanium diaphragm, ensuring smooth, linear reproduction from 1 kHz to 18 kHz. With a sensitivity of 108.5 dB SPL and a rated power of 110 W AES (220 W continuous), it delivers detailed, articulate sound of great purity, even at high sound pressure levels. Its neodymium magnet system is fitted with a short-circuit copper cap, which improves the linearity of the magnetic field and limits distortion, guaranteeing balanced, accurate listening.
The ME242 horn, made from cast aluminium, offers a constant horizontal dispersion of 120° and effective loading from 800 Hz, ensuring homogeneous sound coverage, particularly suited to multi-module line-array configurations. Compact, solid and easy to install thanks to its four M6 mounting points, it integrates perfectly with high-performance professional systems.
