At Catalinbread when they're looking for new ideas, always looking for that spark of something special, they try lots of different circuits, lots of different combinations.
During a prototyping session, one circuit stood out, a rare and obscure circuit known as the 'Harmonic Percolator'.
This Percolator had a reputation for creating an ugly but cool sound.
They found something beautiful.
So beautiful that you could play complex jazz chords through it and every note sounded sweet and clear.
So, using the original circuit as a springboard, they created the Karma Suture.
