The Cayin CS-88A KT88 Silver is a valve integrated amplifier designed to meet the expectations of hi-fi enthusiasts seeking versatility and musical performance. Its design is based on four KT88 power tubes combined with 6SL7 and 6SN7 tubes, which handle the preamplification and driver stages.
With switchable operation between Ultra-linear and Triode modes, it allows the sound reproduction to be tailored to the user’s preferences. Ultra-linear mode delivers up to 2 x 48 W RMS to drive a wide range of speakers effectively, whilst Triode mode offers 2 x 27 W RMS with a different sonic character.
The CS-88A KT88 Silver features an MM phono input for direct connection to a turntable, as well as a Direct-In input allowing it to be integrated into an expandable hi-fi system. Three stereo RCA inputs complete its connectivity options for various audio sources.
Its frequency response of 10 Hz to 42 kHz and signal-to-noise ratio of 93 dB contribute to precise signal reproduction. Featuring 4- and 8-ohm compatible terminals and a robust 28 kg chassis, this amplifier combines versatility, build quality and audio performance.
