Guitar Microphone
DiMarzio has combined the soul of the PAF with the character of the Filter'Tron to create the DP293NBK PAF'Tron, a microphone that sings like a PAF but bites like a 'Tron. It's made for those who love vintage!

Presentation
The Dimarzio DP293NBK PAF'Tron Neck is both vintage and modern. It's inspired by the old PAF pickups, but adopts the Filter'Tron format. The result is a clear, warm sound with good dynamics.
The pickup uses an Alnico V magnet and fine-wire manual winding, for a precise, natural sound. It's geared more towards clean tones and light crunches, but remains well defined even when pushed a little. You can use it for soft music, fingerstyle or soaring atmospheres. If you're playing in a guitar-bass-drums trio, it'll fill the space without overdoing it.
The pickup works very well with effects such as reverb, delay or tremolo. It's easy to create a rich sonic universe. The Filter'Tron format gives it a retro visual edge, but it's the sound that really makes the difference.
