Dimarzio - DP293NCR PAF'Tron Neck Nickel / Black

The PAF'Tron Neck DP293NCR is a nod to the past with its feet firmly planted in the present. It takes up the sound codes of the PAF with a Filter'Tron format. It combines smoothness, clarity and harmonic richness, all in an elegant design.

The pickup uses an Alnico V magnet to give a warm yet articulate sound. Each coil is wound one at a time, with very fine custom wire to ensure precise frequency response. In neck position, it gives clear tones full of depth, without ever being muffled. It works very well with a little reverb or even clean.

Best of all, the humbecker is dipped in a special wax to prevent whistling at high volumes. This treatment eliminates feedback and parasitic noise, even with an amp.

It's a pickup that complements the PAF'Tron Neck perfectly, with a good balance of level and character. You can use it for blues, jazz or rock. And with its nickel/black colour scheme, it's a class act!
