Electro-Voice - EVOLVE 50 G2 White

The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 G2 is an amplified column sound system designed for concerts, events and mobile performances, offering rich sound reproduction and quick set-up. Its design combines a subwoofer and a wide-dispersion column.

With a maximum sound pressure level of 129 dB, the EVOLVE 50 G2 offers greater power headroom than the previous generation. This upgrade makes it easier to provide sound for medium to large venues, with more precise sound reproduction and deeper bass that remains clear.

The 120° horizontal and 40° vertical coverage ensures even sound distribution to the audience, with a sound pattern designed to minimise dead spots. The enhanced DSP processing also refines the system’s response and includes, in particular, feedback suppression, music ducking and an expanded effects bank to tailor the sound to different performances.

The new large 2.8-inch colour LCD screen centralises the main settings and makes it easy to read the DSP parameters directly on the speaker. The integrated control panel also allows the system to be managed without a phone or tablet, ensuring standalone operation on stage or at an event. The redesigned ergonomics also include a top handle on the subwoofer, with a lightweight design that simplifies handling and speeds up set-up.

The RJ45 network connection introduced in the G2 generation allows two compatible systems to be interconnected using a standard network cable, enabling the sharing of control data and certain configuration parameters. QuickSmart Link thus expands the system’s operational capabilities and reduces the number of connections required between devices. Bluetooth also benefits from an extended range, with wireless management integrated into the QuickSmart App 3.0 ecosystem. This app allows you to control multiple compatible Electro-Voice loudspeakers, create a True Wireless Stereo setup and manage settings from a mobile device.

The acoustic design retains the DNA of the EVOLVE range whilst enhancing its performance, with a higher output level and wide dispersion suitable for both musical performances and spoken-word events. The column-style design also retains the quick three-step setup, with components designed for easy transport. Together, these features form a cohesive sound system solution for DJs, musicians, event organisers and technical service providers.
