Electro-Voice - Pack EVOLVE 50M G2 + Cover

With the Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M G2 pack and the EVOLVE 50 SUB CVR cover, you’ll have a complete column system and dedicated protection for its subwoofer. The EVOLVE 50M G2 combines the subwoofer, column and mixer into a single unit, which avoids having to set up multiple components when preparing your sound system. With its 1,500 W output and 12-inch subwoofer, it’s equally suited to music playback and performances involving microphones, instruments or public speaking. The bag supplied for the column and pole also makes it easy to transport these components between venues.

The system features a 12-inch bass driver and a column equipped with six 3.5-inch neodymium magnet drivers. The 1,500 W is split between 750 W for the bass and 750 W for the treble, with a frequency response of 37 Hz to 20 kHz. Its horizontal coverage of 120° and vertical coverage of 40° allows for wide sound dispersion from wherever you set up the column. With a maximum sound pressure level of 129 dB at 1 m, the EVOLVE 50M G2 also offers sufficient headroom for situations where the music needs to cut through other elements of your performance.

The built-in 8-channel Dynacord mixer allows you to manage your various sources directly from the system itself. The six XLR/6.35 mm jack combo inputs accommodate microphone or line-level sources, whilst the RCA and stereo mini-jack inputs are suitable for stereo audio sources. A Hi-Z input is also available, along with switchable +48 V phantom power. This means you can connect your microphones, instruments and other audio sources without needing to add an external mixing desk to your setup.

To complement music playback, stereo Bluetooth with TWS allows you to stream your audio wirelessly. The QuickSmart DSP adds several useful functions during a performance: AFS helps to minimise feedback, whilst Ducking automatically reduces the music volume when someone speaks. Two FX banks are also available, controllable via the built-in controls or the QuickSmart App 3.0. The system also features XLR Aux & Mix outputs and an RJ45 QuickSmart Link connection, enabling audio sharing and control between two EVOLVE 50M G2 units.

The EVOLVE 50 SUB CVR cover completes the pack by protecting the subwoofer when you’re transporting or storing it. Made from tear-resistant reinforced nylon, it has openings on the top and sides to access the handles without removing the cover. Its interior, measuring approximately 520 x 490 x 355 mm, is designed to fit the subwoofers of the EVOLVE 50 G2, EVOLVE 50 G2 White, EVOLVE 50M G2 and EVOLVE 50M G2 White systems. The black nylon is complemented by a white EV logo.

This gives you a column system with a built-in mixer, processing functions and Bluetooth connectivity, complete with a cover designed to protect the cabinet. A practical solution when you need to transport your sound system, set up your system quickly and manage the music, microphones and instruments for your performance all from a single unit.
