Presentation
Electro-Voice's TX1152 2-way full-range passive speaker from the Tour X series is equipped with a 15" SMX2151 high-sensitivity woofer and a 1.25" 1.25" DH3/2010A high-frequency compression driver in titanium.
Optimised for portable and fixed applications such as bars, clubs, mobile DJs and touring, the TX1152 speaker offers 500W continuous power (2,000W peak) to deliver powerful, distortion-free sound.
The waveguide offers a tight 60 x 40° coverage with constant directivity. The high-frequency compression driver is protected by a fourth-order filter.
The black steel grille protects the drivers from the harsh conditions often imposed on PA speakers. Integrated handles make it easy to carry.
Finally, the TX1152 EV PA speaker features 6 x 3/8" threaded points for overhead suspension. A mounting plate also allows the unit to be mounted on a standard speaker stand.
