The EMG 35PCSX X Series bass pickup is designed for bassists looking for precision, punch and natural response. This 3.5" Soapbar active model is designed for 4-string basses. It's based on the philosophy of the famous EMG 35P, but in a ceramic version with steel studs for an even more defined sound.
The X series features a revamped, more open preamp that delivers more dynamics and nuance. You'll get that passive-like feel, but with the formidable efficiency of an active microphone.
The frequency response remains broad and perfectly balanced across the entire spectrum. Whether you're playing with your fingers or picks, the tactile sensitivity of the 35PCSX is immediate. Its natural versatility makes it easy to adapt to funk, rock, metal or jazz fusion styles.
Installation is solderless thanks to EMG's solderless system, supplied complete in the box. The pickup comes complete with fixing screws for direct integration into the body of your bass.
