The EMG 40PAX pickup provides a powerful, nuanced solution for 6-string basses. Its enlarged format provides perfect coverage of the spectrum, with a smooth response right down to the lowest notes.
This model uses the same construction as the famous EMG P, with an Alnico magnet for roundness and warmth. In active configuration, it delivers a clear, stable signal that's always balanced.
Solderless assembly simplifies installation and makes it easy to change or maintain, without the need for a luthier. Wiring is supplied complete with suitable pots, cables and connectors.
The soapbar 40 format fits most modern 6-string basses.
