Guitar Microphone
With its triple active windings, integrated push/pull and voltage calibrated to the nearest volt, the EMG 57TW Floyd Black Chrome pickup is a dynamic powerhouse that doesn't overpower the background noise. With its Floyd spacing, hybrid magnets and long axis, it's perfect for demanding guitars. The black chrome look remains chic and appeals to the stylish.

Presentation
This EMG 57TW Black Chrome pickup with alnico and steel magnets is ideal for Floyd systems. The 52 mm spacing keeps strings aligned, while the long shaft potentiometer targets thick bodies. The active format remains stable even at high tension.
Each mode has its own personality. The simple mode favours clarity, with a higher frequency. The humbucker pushes the voltage to 4.5 V in strum, without scrambling the signal.
The 9 V power supply lasts for around 1,500 hours. Power consumption remains minimal: just 160 μA. Background noise remains below -107 dBV.
Assembly is simplified by the H1-H6 terminal block. All the components are supplied: TW cables, B245 bus, stereo jack, battery foam, screws. Nothing to solder.
This 57TW combines a clean structure with express assembly. Its versatility is based on solid foundations designed for rigid, demanding and finely-tuned instruments.

To find out more...
The EMG 57TW Floyd Black Chrome remains very accurate even with intense use of the Floyd vibrato. The highs don't mix. Switching to single coil removes some of the punch, but this clarity is rarely lacking live.
The tone control often hides a sweet spot to bring out the harmonics.
A word of advice: You may have forgotten to disconnect the battery, so an external box is a good backup.
For looping textures, humbucker mode creates a more solid, dense base, which is great for building around with the rest of the playing.
