The result of five years' work between EMG and Glenn Tipton, the GTV Rouge pickup has a single objective: to push back the limits of modern metal. With its ceramic and steel magnets, it delivers a precise attack and solid bass.
The smooth midrange ensures dense, easy-to-read saturation. There are no wires or hum. The response remains clear on every string, whatever the gain level. And the integrated preamp ensures continuous dynamics, even with a supply voltage of up to 27 volts.
Each pickup consumes just 160 µA and can run for up to 300 hours on a single 9V battery. The complete kit includes two pickups (neck + bridge), 25k potentiometers, a stereo jack and all the cables needed for solderless installation.
