The EMG BQC-HZ gives you total control over your sound with its dual-axis potentiometers. The variable mid-range module lets you precisely target the frequency you want to boost or attenuate. The centre detent on each setting tells you when the EQ is neutral.

ARTICLE N° 110037
The EMG BQC HZ system radically transforms the tonal control of your passive bass. It features a full active circuit including master volume, active balance between pickups and a high-performance 3-band EQ.

The active balance (ABC) allows you to control both microphones without any loss of signal, even at mid-range. Equalisation is handled by two concentric potentiometers: one for bass/treble, the other for midrange. The settings are precise, with a notched centre position for a neutral sound.

The midrange circuit includes a frequency sweep from 100 Hz to 1 kHz to sculpt a custom mix. You can emphasise a particular frequency to cut through the mix, or deepen the midrange for a more hollow sound.

The system is designed for passive microphones, but it also works with EMG HZs. For demanding users, an 18V power supply is available to increase the dynamic range.

Installation is made easy by the solderless connectors, although soldering is possible if you prefer. All components are included: pots, jack, cabling, battery box. An internal mini switch lets you adjust the treble response to suit your taste.
