Presentation
The EMG BQC system is a complete active EQ kit designed for basses fitted with active EMG pickups. It combines active balance, master volume and high-precision 3-band EQ.
The system uses 2 concentric potentiometers: one for bass and treble, the other for parametric midrange. The midrange control lets you select the frequency (from 100 Hz to 1 kHz), then apply a targeted boost or cut.
All settings have a central detent for easy return to a neutral response. An integrated dip-switch lets you adjust the slope of the treble curve according to four different profiles.
The B118 active balance ensures a smooth, lossless transition between your neck and bridge pickups. The power supply can be either 9V or 18V for improved dynamics in the event of a major boost.
This system is ideal for those looking for detailed control of their sound. The set includes 4 complete kits, perfect for workshops or luthiers. Installation is easy thanks to pre-wiring and solderless connectors.
