Guitar Spare Parts

EMG EXG potentiometer for guitar, expand your tonal options with a clear bass/treble boost and midrange dip. For active and passive pickups.

ARTICLE N° 110175
The EMG-EXG is an EQ potentiometer designed for those who want to enrich the sound spectrum of their guitar without getting bogged down in complex settings. Installed in place of a simple tone pot, it acts like an expander: it accentuates the bass and treble while slightly reducing the midrange. The result? A wider, more open sound, but still well defined, with no mushiness or loss of clarity.

One of the great strengths of this module is its ability to transform the character of your guitar, whatever the pickup configuration. Whether you're playing single-coils, P90s or humbuckers, the EXG provides a new response curve that awakens your sounds without betraying them. It's particularly effective for bringing out a Strat in a busy mix, or giving a modern twist to a vintage sound.

Another plus point is its compatibility with active and passive microphones. So you're not limited to just one type of configuration. All you have to do is install it, and you'll have immediate control over the brilliance and depth of your signal.
