The EMG SV White microphone doesn't imitate. It pays homage. Inspired by the pickups of 1959, it has a simple active coil with stepped Alnico V magnets. The tone remains open, precise and never sterile. A note strummed by hand sounds just right, even without reverb.
With a resonance frequency of 2.41 kHz, it gives body to the highs without pushing them. Its noise level remains low (-102 dB), even at high volume. It achieves 3 volts of output under attack, without crushing the midrange. The result? A voice that is present, but always controlled. Its active preamp maintains a low impedance to avoid any signal loss. It accepts up to 27 volts, without changing character. Installation is straightforward, with no soldering or complications. It works with any other active EMG microphone.
