With its inverted P-type configuration, this accessory pushes the limits of split-coil. The bass is wide, full and deep. High frequencies? Clearly defined, without aggression. The result is a natural balance that's ideal for both slap and finger-style playing. The dynamics are always there, without faltering.
In terms of technology, EMG does what it does best: short, wide-base ceramic magnets, virtually no noise and an output voltage that rises to 4.5 V when you hit it hard. No need for earthing: the built-in shielding does the job.
Installation is quick and solderless. It's all in the box: 25k pots, full connectivity, screws and bolts. In the studio, on stage or in rehearsal, this mic is stable, clean and precise.
