Presentation
The SC205 speaker from EVE Audio is a 2-way active studio monitor for your home studio or professional studio. Equipped with a bi-amplifier delivering a total of 100W to power its 5" woofer and an AMT RS1 tweeter, the SC205 is designed to deliver maximum power with minimum distortion.
The SC205's custom-built 5-inch SilverCone woofer, driven by a 1.5-inch voice coil, offers a low-frequency response down to 53 Hz. The speaker's compact size makes it suitable for smaller listening environments, and you can mount the SC205 on a conventional microphone stand or speaker stand thanks to the threaded screw inserts on the underside. There are also threaded screw inserts at the rear for wall mounting using the optional adapter plate.
The SC205 also features balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced RCA inputs for added versatility, as well as a front-panel selector switch that gives access to volume control and crossover settings to help you tailor your monitor speakers to the way you work. This control is DSP-based via a high-quality Burr Brown A/D converter (24-bit/192kHz).
A pair of SC205s can be effectively complemented by a TS107 or TS108 subwoofer.
