The Focusrite RedNet D16R is a 1U 19-inch rack interface with 16 AES / EBU channels to and from a Dante audio network, perfect as a bridge between digital consoles, power amplifiers, or other AES3 audio equipment and a Dante network. . The two Ethernet connectors (primary and secondary) on the rear panel ensure maximum network reliability with a transparent flip-flop on a back-up network in the unlikely event of a network failure. These ports can also be used to cascaded additional units when operating in switched mode.
