Focusrite - Scarlett 18i20 G3

The exterior of the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd generation has received a facelift. Some components have been modified to provide better sound quality, lower latency and greater ease of use. With sample rates up to 192kHz, you have studio-quality sound you can take anywhere.

Eight Focusrite mic/instrument preamps sit right on the front panel of the Scarlett 18i20, right where you need them, while the rear panel accommodates a wealth of additional I/O: up to 18 simultaneous inputs/outputs! On the back, you'll find 6 additional XLR combo inputs + 8 channels of ADAT I/O, S/PDIF, MIDI I/O, and a word clock output.

Focusrite has made sure the Scarlett 18i20 has the features you need. Equipped with onboard talkback for communicating with the artist, an 8-channel LED bargraph, two headphone outputs with independent level control and speaker switching for dual speaker system installations monitoring, the Scarlett 18i20 is an ideal interface for serious home studios who may need to expand its capabilities in the future. Focusrite has added its famous Air circuit to its already amazing Scarlett mic preamps. The instrument inputs have also been redesigned to support the most advanced active hardware. Finally, Focusrite has wired analog protection circuits to the Scarlett 18i20's inputs and outputs, protecting your interface from power surges.

The Scarlett 18i20's ultra-low latency lets you control the effects of native plug-ins in real time, so you can hear your tracks as you imagine them and record better performances. But if you prefer the simplicity of direct monitoring, simply activate the Direct Monitor circuit. A duo of virtual looping inputs lets you capture a stereo feed of any combination of hardware input channels and software playback channels, making podcasting, live streaming and sampling easy to achieve .
