The '57 Classic Plus has a slightly overwound winding, just like the PAF pickups made in the late 1950s, which sometimes received a few extra turns of wire. The balanced coils of the '57 Classic Plus produce a warm, creamy tone. Installed in the bridge position, these pickups are the perfect accompaniment to the '57 Classic, delivering a little more of 'that much-loved sound' without sacrificing the warm vintage timbre of the pickups.
