Godin - Etude LH RN

The Godin Etude LH RN is a Canadian-made guitar that has become one of the most popular models in the La Patrie range. It is no coincidence that it holds this position, as it incorporates the features of the Motif whilst featuring a full-size body. If you prefer the feel of a traditional classical guitar, it is precisely this body style that makes all the difference. The moment you lay your hands on it, the instrument inspires a simple, unpretentious approach.

The solid cedar top forms the foundation of its acoustic character. The back and sides, crafted from wild Canadian cherry, complement this construction with a character all of their own. Godin has opted for a particularly light semi-gloss finish to preserve the body’s responsiveness. A wise choice, this allows the wood to vibrate more freely and contributes to the vast harmonic range highlighted on this model.

In terms of comfort, the mahogany neck fits naturally in the hand. The rosewood fingerboard and bridge remain true to the spirit of classical guitars. It features a 25.66" scale length, a 2" Graphtech TUSQ nut, a 24" radius and 19 frets. The 14:1 ratio tuning machines allow for precise tuning, whilst a set of HTC nylon strings is fitted as standard.

This version has been developed specifically for left-handed guitarists. Should you ever wish to play on stage or plug into an acoustic amplifier, a Godin QIT system is available as an option, featuring a built-in tuner, a pickup under the nut, and controls for volume, treble and bass.
