Hotone - MP-50PT Ampero Mini Purple Taro

The Hotone MP-50PT Ampero Mini Purple Taro is a compact guitar and bass multi-effects unit in pedal format, available here in a “Purple Taro” finish. It features 24-bit audio processing with a sampling rate of 44.1 kHz and a claimed dynamic range of up to 112 dB, ensuring good signal definition throughout the signal chain. The CDCM HD and F.I.R.E. engine supports up to 199 effects, with 9 simultaneous modules for building complex chains.

The system offers 198 presets split between factory sounds and user memories, with flexible routing of effect blocks. The 800 x 480 touchscreen provides easy access to parameters and real-time adjustments, even whilst performing. The high-impedance 4.7 MΩ instrument input preserves the natural response of guitar or bass pickups.

Connectivity includes an auxiliary input for external sources, TRS stereo outputs and a headphone output for monitoring. The USB-C port enables use as an audio interface, preset editing and system updates. Loading third-party IRs in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz format with 1024 points allows you to customise cabinet simulations.

The pedalboard also features a drum machine with 100 patterns and a stereo looper with up to 50 seconds of recording time. An expression pedal input allows real-time control of various assigned parameters. Power is supplied via a 9 V DC connection, with a maximum current draw of 500 mA.
