The TOD10N Pearl Pink Flat guitar, designed by Ibanez in collaboration with Tim Henson, is aimed at musicians looking for a nylon-string electro-acoustic classical guitar suited to contemporary musical styles. Its soundhole-free top design minimises the risk of feedback at high volumes. The side soundhole directs the sound straight towards the guitarist, allowing them to hear the body’s natural response more clearly.

The chrome tuners on this Pearl Pink Flat version, the mother-of-pearl-style binding and the ‘Tree of Death’ inlay enhance its visual identity, blending tradition with modern aesthetics.

Its solid Sitka spruce top, combined with a sapele back and sides, produces a balanced tonal response, with bright trebles, warm mid-range and substantial bass. The fan bracing, traditionally used on classical guitars, preserves the natural character of the nylon strings.

The glued nyatoh neck, with a C-shaped profile, ensures a smooth playing experience across the 22 frets. The rosewood fingerboard has a radius of 400 mm and a nut width of 46 mm, a combination that facilitates rapid movement and precise fingering, particularly in the higher registers.

For amplified playing, the Fishman S-Core pickup transmits the instrument’s acoustic character to a PA system or amplifier.
