Jet Guitars JS 1000 QTBL Transparent Blue The Jet Guitars JS-1000 QTBL makes its debut with a solid quilted maple top that turns every light into a spectacle — this transparent blue isn’t just a colour, it’s a statement. The HSS configuration combines the J-87 humbucker with two Alnico V single-coils to cover a sonic spectrum that few guitars in this range dare to claim. With its roasted Canadian maple neck, bone nut and self-locking tuners, the JS-1000 QTBL plays as seriously as it looks.

Presentation
The Jet Guitars JS-1000 QTBL makes an immediate visual impact: a mahogany body topped with a solid quilted maple top finished in glossy Quilted Transparent Blue, whose intricate grain patterns catch the light like a moving stained-glass window. This isn’t just decoration — it’s instrument-making with a keen sense of presentation.
Beneath this surface, the sonic architecture is designed for those who don’t want to choose. The HSS configuration combines the direct-mounted J-87 humbucker — 8 kOhm, hand-wound in Korea — with two Alnico V single-coils mounted directly into the body, without an intermediate plate. The result: direct transmission of vibrations, bass with body, and trebles that sing. The 5-way switch with split coil opens up seven different sonic territories spanning pop, rock and blues.
The Modern C-profile roasted Canadian maple neck provides a solid foundation under the hand: stable in the face of humidity changes, reassuring in its action. The roasted maple fingerboard, with a radius of 241.3 mm (9.5"), suits rhythm playing just as well as solo bends. The 22 frets cover a scale length of 647.7 mm (25.5") — balanced tension, predictable attack.
The chrome hardware completes the picture without making a fuss: the bone nut handles the transmission of the strings to the headstock with a clarity that synthetic alternatives cannot match, and the chrome self-locking tuners keep the tuning steady where many others fail. The fixed bridge completes the picture: maximum sustain, no mechanical compromise.
The JS-1000 QTBL is the kind of guitar that performs just as well in rehearsal as it does on stage, equally at home in a hard rock riff as it is in crystal-clear clean funk.
