The Jet Guitars JS-30 Elite Ash is a guitar that embraces a natural look through and through. The ash body, finished in an ‘Off White’ stain, allows the wood grain to shine through the finish — not an opaque white that hides the wood, but a stain that reveals the material beneath. The natural wood pickguard extends this philosophy right down to the smallest detail: where other models might have used white plastic or tortoiseshell, the JS-30 leaves the wood exposed. It’s a choice made in the workshop, not from a catalogue.
The lightweight, quarter-sawn roasted maple neck with a roasted maple fingerboard creates a continuity of material from the heel to the nut — two layers of heat-treated wood working together to provide remarkable long-term stability. The C-shape profile, 241.3 mm (9.5″) radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets (2.6 mm) deliver a feel on the left hand that’s familiar to Fender-style players: spacious, direct and predictable. The abalone inlays on roasted maple create a subtle yet refined visual contrast. The high-end PPS nut and Wilkinson WJ-55 Vintage tuners round off the headstock with a precision that entry-level vintage tuners simply cannot match.
Sonically, the YHL SSS Alnico V Custom Wound Set pickups deliver what ash naturally amplifies: attack, brilliance in the treble, and a clarity of picking that cuts through a mix. The 5-way selector switch with volume and tone controls keeps the signal path direct. The Wilkinson WV6SB bridge anchors the strings to the body with string-by-string intonation precision. D’Addario EXL110 strings are fitted as standard, and a deluxe gig bag is included straight out of the box.
