Jet Guitars - JS 45 Indigo Gray

A grain of flame bathed in light — that is the first thing the Jet JS-45 Indigo Grey reveals, and it is no mere cosmetic detail. The solid flamed maple top set upon the two-piece mahogany body creates a deliberate acoustic blend: the mahogany lends its organic weight to the lower mid-range, whilst the maple rounds off the upper end with crystalline clarity. The custom Alnico HSS pickup set interprets this material with precision — the humbucker in the bass position for density, the single-coils for openness and the airy texture of the mid-treble. The mini-switch complements the three positions of the classic selector switch, offering a range of configurations that few guitars of this size allow.
The lightweight, quarter-sawn, roasted maple neck is the other defining feature of this instrument. The quarter-sawn cut stabilises the grain to resist changes in humidity; the light roasting removes residual sugars and densifies the grain without making the neck feel heavy. The C-shaped profile offers a natural grip. The Indian rosewood fingerboard adds an oiled smoothness under the fingers and a velvety quality to the mid-range, which the 12″ radius utilises for aggressive bends across the 24 Medium Jumbo frets (2.6 mm) — wide, crisp and unrestrained. The white mother-of-pearl inlays provide clear guidance without being overwhelming. The high-end PPS nut maintains tuning stability when using the custom vibrato, whilst the locking tuners ensure security at the headstock.
The included Deluxe gig bag and the D’Addario EXL110 strings fitted as standard complete a package that’s ready to play straight out of the box — on stage or in the studio.
